Podiatrists specialise in conditions affecting the feet and lower limbs. They may find ways to reduce the pain in your toes, knees or hips, perhaps by providing shoe inserts (orthoses) or advice on footwear.
Podiatrists can also help to treat plantar fasciitis (inflammation of the tissue on the bottom of the foot, causing pain in the heel or middle of the foot) or Achilles tendonitis, which causes heel pain. These conditions are common in people with psoriatic arthritis.
You can find a podiatrist via the Australasian Podiatry Association website.
